Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how PageIt handles information when you use the service to sign in, upload PDFs, create PDF links, view upload history, or join the PDF-to-webpage waitlist.
Information We Collect
- Google sign-in profile data, including your Google account ID, email address, name, and avatar.
- Session cookies and temporary OAuth cookies used to sign you in securely.
- Uploaded PDFs and upload metadata, including filename, file size, generated slug, creation date, and owner account.
- Waitlist information, including your email address, conversion type, page count, and design preference.
- A temporary browser IndexedDB copy of a selected PDF so upload can resume after Google sign-in.
- Basic technical and request data handled by Cloudflare for security, routing, and service delivery.
How We Use Information
We use information to authenticate users, create and serve PDF links, show upload history, save waitlist preferences, respond to support requests, prevent abuse, protect the service, and operate PageIt.
PDF Links
Uploaded PDFs are served through unlisted public links. Anyone with the generated link can view the PDF. PageIt does not publish a public directory of your uploads, but you should treat each shared link as accessible to anyone who receives it.
Cookies and Browser Storage
PageIt uses cookies for sign-in sessions and OAuth security checks. The upload form may temporarily store a selected PDF in your browser's IndexedDB so it can continue after you sign in with Google. That pending browser copy is cleared after upload or when you remove the selected file.
Service Providers
PageIt uses Cloudflare for hosting, request handling, database storage, and PDF file storage. PageIt uses Google OAuth for sign-in. These providers process information as needed to deliver their services to PageIt.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to enforce our Terms, to prevent abuse, or to protect PageIt, users, or others.
Retention and Deletion
We keep account, upload, and waitlist information while needed to provide the service. You can request deletion by emailing support@pageit.app. We will delete verified account, upload, and waitlist data unless we need to keep limited information for legal, security, or abuse-prevention reasons. Backup and provider systems may take additional time to clear.
Your Choices
You can request access, correction, deletion, or support by emailing support@pageit.app. PageIt does not sell personal information.
Children
PageIt is not intended for children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No online service can guarantee perfect security, so you should avoid uploading files that you are not comfortable sharing through an unlisted public link.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated page will show the latest revision date.
